Our mission is to raise awareness of spinal cord injuries through wheelchair racing and motivational encouragement. We provide inspiration to others with disabilities and change lives by donating sports wheelchairs. So far we have raised the funds to make the first dream come true, and we are now on a mission for our next 100!
Among our many goals we seek to accomplish in 2016, our priority is to spread the reach of Heine Wheelchair Racing beyond Western Kentucky and get Josh into competitions throughout the United States. It is our goal to participate in at least two events per month and to qualify for the Boston Marathon. We also seek to expand our Team and add more competitors with disabilities into the circuit by providing applicable candidates with new sports wheelchairs and the support to compete!
We visit various clinics and disabled individuals to provide them with support in their journey through recovery. Giving hope to someone who has experienced a life-changing accident can make all the difference. Donating time to volunteer at VA clinics and the Frazier Rehab Institute in Louisville, Kentucky are essential to us in giving back to the community. We would love to offer our support to anyone going through such a journey!
Together we are changing lives and making dreams come true!Donate today to help make a difference!
